Easter is coming and there are several interesting events to attend in the Algarve. Why not take yor family and go see the Flower Torches Festival in São Brás de Alportel on 21st April – a very beautiful Easter Sunday tradition where the streets are lined with red carpets and flowers, the parade starts from the church and people carry stunning handmade flower “torches”. We recommend a visit to get to know this area that is located in the country side and view the flower parade and while you are there try out one of the local restaurants for lunch or dinner.
