We recommend a visit to the municipal market in Loulé, built in 1908 it´s neo-arabic building is very beautyful and has won a tourism price in 2008. Here you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, fish as well as spices and souvenirs. It is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 15:00.
On Saturday morning the there is a producer market around the market hall where you can purchase fresh products from the area it is very charming and colourful.
Also every Saturday visit the weekly gipsy market in Loulé from 9:00 - 13:00 it is a an open air market and a main attraction in the area. Here you will find clothes, shoes, hand made jewellry, pottery, linen, diverse handicrafts, items for the home, the ideal place to find lovely souvenirs.
